Raised on a family farm in rural Iowa, I quickly gained a strong work ethic at a young age. Throughout my adolescent years, I found many ways to keep myself busy through crafting, designing, and organizing. It wasn't until my high school years that I found my true passion of designing and organizing... events. I was very fortunate to have a close event industry mentor that helped me pave my way to the Iowa State University Event Management program.

Once I arrived at Iowa State University, I excitedly dived into my courses and began to think about my future in the event industry. During my time at Iowa Sate, I was employed with the Iowa State University Alumni Center as an event management staff member and then I was offered an event coordinator assistant position on campus through the Office of the Vice President for Research at the beginning of my third year.

I am very much looking forward to my future after I graduate from Iowa State University. I can not wait to get out into the event industry and to further my passion of planning and executing events.
